David Poole has over 30 years of experience in both private practice and, most recently, as in-house counsel for large public energy companies. David has extensive experience in litigation and other commercial dispute resolution, corporate governance and public company regulatory matters including internal investigations, oil and gas asset transactions, and directors and officers defense and insurance matters.
Before joining Wick Phillips, David was General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Range Resources Corporation (NYSE:RRC), having joined Range in June 2008 as its first in-house lawyer. Prior to Range, David was General Counsel of TXU Corporation, serving TXU from 2004 to 2008, during which time the company was purchased in the largest leveraged buyout in US history.
