Rhys Brewer is a finance partner at Wick Phillips and serves clients in the areas of finance and real estate finance. He has extensive experience in debt and debt capital market transactions gained during his over 20-year career practicing law in multiple jurisdictions.
Rhys highlights his experience in financing the development of a large mixed-use development in the center of Istanbul and closing over $5 billion in real estate financings secured by landmark shopping and hospitality destinations.
Prior to joining Wick Phillips, Rhys served as counsel at a US based globally integrated asset manager operating in the private equity space, and focused on real estate, credit, equity, and other financial assets. Rhys also served as a senior counsel and director at a global real estate development company based in the Middle East. In addition, Rhys’ experience as outside counsel at a UK national firm includes transactions in the private equity, equity capital markets and M&A sectors.
