Colin Benton is an associate in the litigation section of Wick Phillips and focuses on civil appeals and disputes, complex commercial litigation matters, including breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, oil and gas, bankruptcy, and arbitration.
Prior to joining Wick Phillips, Colin served as career law clerk for United States District Court Judge Mark T. Pittman in the Northern District of Texas. Prior to the clerkship, Colin was a staff attorney for the Honorable Justices Sue Walker and Dabney Bassel in the Texas Court of Appeals for the Second District. During law school, he was a Notes and Comments Editor on the Texas A&M Journal of Property Law.
