Ten Wick Phillips attorneys have been named 2016 Texas Super Lawyers in six different practice areas: Appellate, Business Litigation, Employment and Labor, Intellectual Property Litigation, Insurance Coverage, and Mergers and Acquisitions. Super Lawyers is an independent organization that annually recognizes the star lawyers in each state. Attorneys are chosen through a thorough selection process, which includes peer nominations, peer evaluations, and independent research, and just five percent of lawyers in the state are named Super Lawyers.

Erika Bright (Partner) was selected for Insurance Coverage. Erika is nationally recognized for her expertise in the area of insurance coverage for policyholders. This is her fifth time to be honored as a Super Lawyer.

David Drez (Partner) was selected for Business Litigation. David counsels clients in Texas and across the United States in a variety of matters, with a significant emphasis on oil and gas disputes litigation. David has been recognized as a Super Lawyer since 2013.

Andrew Gould (Partner) was selected for Employment and Labor. Andy is board certified in Labor and Employment Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He has been named a Super Lawyer since 2008.

Jeffrey Hellberg (Partner) was selected for Appellate. This is Jeff’s sixth time to be honored as a Super Lawyer.

Amy LaValle (Partner) was selected for Intellectual Property Litigation. Amy practices in the Firm’s IP Section and represents clients on both sides of patent issues in district court cases and proceedings before the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office. Amy has been a Super Lawyer honoree for three years.

Sean Lemoine (Partner) was selected for Business Litigation. Sean focuses on trials of business disputes. This is Sean’s third year to be named a Super Lawyer.

Brant Martin (Partner) was selected for Business Litigation. Brant focuses his practice on all facets of trial and commercial litigation He has been honored as a Super Lawyer since 2011.

Todd Phillips (Partner) was selected for Business Litigation. Todd is a founding partner of Wick Phillips and has practiced in the area of complex commercial litigation for more than 15 years. He has been recognized as a Super Lawyer for the past five years.

Steve Stennett (Partner) was selected for Mergers and Acquisitions. Steve practices in the Firm’s corporate section and focuses his practice on M&A. Steve has been as Super Lawyer since 2014.

Bryan Wick (Partner) was selected for Business Litigation. He is a founding partner of the firm and practices in the areas of commercial and bankruptcy litigation, and he has litigated a variety of complex commercial matters for both plaintiffs and defendants, domestically and abroad. This is Bryan’s fourth year to be honored as a Super Lawyer.
