Gould, Hellberg and Martin Named Texas Super Lawyers; Covin, Drez, Gamble, Lemoine, and Wick Recognized as Texas Rising Stars in 2011

Wick Phillips Gould & Martin, LLP, a full-service business law firm with offices in Dallas and Fort Worth, Texas, announces Andrew M. Gould, Brant C. Martin, and Jeffrey W. Hellberg, Jr. were recognized as Texas Super Lawyers for 2011. In addition, Jonathan S. Covin, David J. Drez, III, David G. Gamble, J. Sean Lemoine and Bryan J. Wick were recognized as Texas Rising Stars.

As an independent attorney rating service and publication, Super Lawyers recognizes outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high-degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. Rising Stars are selected from candidates that are either 40 years old or younger or in practice for ten years or less. The selection process for both designations includes independent research, peer nominations and evaluations of other attorneys within the peer group.

Both Super Lawyers and Texas Rising Stars candidates are selected by attorneys using a rigorous, multiphase rating process. Each attorney that is selected has been evaluated on 12 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement. Selections are made on an annual, state-by-state basis. Less than 2.5 percent of all attorneys in Texas are recognized as either a Super Lawyer or Texas Rising Star.
