Greg Young is a partner in the Wick Phillips Austin office, and practices in the corporate and finance section. An expert in loan and equity financing transactions, Greg also has extensive expertise in handling mergers & acquisitions.

With more than 14 years of experience, Greg has handled a wide variety of corporate and transactional matters for clients, including loan transactions on both the borrower and the lender side, formation and governance of corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies, as well as venture capital and other private equity transactions. Greg has also handled loan restructurings, foreclosures, mergers and acquisitions, private placements and other securities transactions and has worked with clients in the finance industry on hedge funds and private equity funds.

Working with a wide variety of clients, Greg also has experience in software and video game development and licensing, purchasing and selling of real property, and negotiating and drafting office, retail and industrial leases. Greg also has significant experience representing Certified Capital Companies (CAPCOs) in Texas, and handles regulatory and licensing matters for pawnshops and car title loan companies throughout Texas.

Specializing in the representation of technology, energy, services and other industries, Greg regularly counsels companies and investors with regard to matters such as entity structure, raising capital through equity and loan transactions, corporate governance, and general business matters. Greg has closed numerous domestic and international transactions, for clients in a wide variety of industries.

Prior to joining Wick Phillips, Greg was a partner at the law firms of Okin Adams & Kilmer LLP and Munsch Hardt Kopf & Harr, P.C. Greg is admitted to practice in Texas.
