Ken Chuka-Obah Joins Wick Phillips

DALLAS - Nov. 08, 2011

Wick Phillips Gould & Martin, LLP, a leading full-service business law firm in North Texas, announces the addition of Ken Chuka-Obah to its transactional practice group. The transactional group at Wick Phillips specializes in merger & acquisition transactions, SEC disclosures, bank financings, commercial contracts, and corporate governance issues.

As a Certified Public Accountant, Mr. Chuka-Obah has practiced for a number of years as an auditor for both public and private companies. He also served as a legal intern for Judge Eric Moye of the 14th District Court, and participated in Southern Methodist University's study abroad program in Oxford, England. He is licensed to practice in the State of Texas.

A graduate from Southern Methodist University's Dedman School of Law, Mr. Chuka-Obah was on the Dean's Honors list and served as student body treasurer. He also tutored students in both civil procedure and on antitrust issues. In addition, he served as Chief Counsel for the Small Business Clinic, representing clients on a wide variety of business matters. He received his B.B.A and M.S. degrees from the University of Texas at Arlington.
