Darla is a business trial lawyer and partner in the litigation section of Wick Phillips. She devotes her practice to identifying and solving problems for clients. Her practice focuses on all aspects of business law with an emphasis on fiduciary duties. Darla brings a thoughtful legal approach to complex business problems that involve personal relationships and those that address arm’s‐length business transactions. Darla represents her clients throughout the U.S. in trial courts, arbitrations, and appellate courts. Recently, Darla has tried and successfully resolved multi‐million‐dollar disputes related to contested guardianships, defective trusts, undue influence in procuring trusts and wills, and complex business disputes involving overlapping duties among members of limited liability companies, family limited partnerships, general partnerships, and trustees of trusts.

Darla attended school at the University of Denver, Sturm College of Law, where she served on the executive board of the University of Denver Law Review and graduated in the top 6% of her class. Darla began her business law practice with Moye White in Denver, Colorado, and remains licensed in Colorado. Prior to joining Wick Phillips, Darla practiced at Bickel & Brewer in Dallas.
