David Anderson is a partner and litigator at Wick Phillips, and he heads up the firm’s Intellectual Property Litigation team. He focuses his practice on assisting clients in complex commercial and intellectual property disputes including matters involving patent infringement, breach of contract, fraud, trademark infringement, unfair competition, tortious interference, covenants not to compete, partnership disputes, and litigation regarding failed mergers, acquisitions, and commercial real estate deals.
Over his approximately 19 years of practice, David has helped numerous clients obtain successful verdicts and settlements within Texas and throughout the country on both the plaintiff and defendant side, including patent and/or commercial litigation cases in the medical device industry, oil and gas industry, commercial and residential real estate industry, banking industry, and the sales industry for various commercial products. David spends significant time with clients at the outset of each matter, providing early case assessment and maintaining frequent communication throughout the duration of the case to insure that his clients remain well informed. David has particular strengths in prioritizing risk, managing costs, and bearing in mind a client’s overall business goals.
Prior to joining Wick Phillips, David was a Principal Shareholder at McKool Smith, P.C., where his practice was devoted to complex commercial and intellectual property litigation.
