Mr. Phillips is a founding partner of Wick Phillips, LLP, and has practiced in the area of complex commercial litigation for more than 10 years.

Mr. Phillips has litigated a wide range of complex commercial matters concerning various subjects, including disputes involving contract and business tort issues, partnership disputes, landlord/tenant and other real estate disputes, lender liability matters, construction law, health care litigation, and various bankruptcy-related matters.

Mr. Phillips has represented and counseled a broad spectrum of clients, from local companies and individuals to Fortune 500 companies.

Prior to forming Wick Phillips, LLP, Mr. Phillips began his career in the Business Litigation section at Haynes and Boone, L.L.P., where he worked for several years as an associate.  Thereafter, Mr. Phillips joined the Litigation department of Weil, Gotshal & Manges, LLP.  Mr. Phillips is admitted to practice in the State of Texas, and has litigated disputes both within Texas and throughout the country.
